Commands are used to tell someone what to do or not to do. There are positive and negative informal commands. Positive tell people “to do” something Negative tell people “not to” do something and are identified by the word NO in front of it. Every command needs and ¡ !

How do I form them? Affirmative(positive)informal commands are conjugated to the present tense “Ud/él/ella form” of the verb: ¡ Escribe cinco oraciones!Write 5 sentences! ¡ Come mas verduras!Eat more vegetables!

Negative commands… Have “no” in front of them. It means you’re telling someone don’t do something.

To make a regular negative command: 1. Put the verb in the“yo form” of the present tense 2.take off the “O”, 3.add:“opposite ending” + “s”.
