Informal Speaking AP TestSimulated Conversation

Description The first part in the speaking section will include a task that measures speaking skills in an informal setting. There will be a conversation role-play situation (an example of the interpersonal mode). Students will be asked to interact with a recorded conversation. There will be five or six opportunities for the studetns to answer. Each response will be 20 seconds in length. Studetns will have to read an outline of the simulated conversation and the instruccions before participating in the simulated conversation.

Ejemplo: Directions: You will now participate in a simulated telephone conversation. First, you will have 30 seconds to read the outline of the conversation. Then, you will listen to a message and have one minute to read again the outline of the conversation. Afterward, the telephone call will begins, following the outline. Each time it is your turn, you will have 20 seconds to respond; a tone will indicate when you should begin and end speaking. You should participate in the conversation as fully and appropriately as possible.
