3 Using Tener with Parts of the School Yo tengo un lápiz Tú tienes dos cuadernos Usted tiene tres sillas El tiene cuatro mochilas Ella tiene cinco marcadores

4 First Things First …. The fist thing I need you to do is to open your Google Docs Click on Create, and then on Collections Then create a folder named as follows, First Initial. Last Name Period 5 or Period 6 So, if your name is Mary Robinson and you are in fifth period, you would name the collection, M. Robinson Period 5.

5 Then …… No mistakes, no typos, use capital letters as I did. Then, highlight the folder, click on share, and share the folder with me. Make sure you click/type on the right name – aldo.redaelli@newpointeducation.com – as I think there are other wrong names on the list. From now on, every assignment you create for me, needs to go in this folder and that way it will be shared with me automatically. If it is not there, it does not count!

6 Your Written Assignment Open a Google Docs Document Name it: firstinitial.lastname.Tener m.robinson.tener (for Mary Robinson) Put it in your Spanish Folder It will be shared with me automatically if you did the other steps the right way Type your name on the top right hand corner Write the to have statements that go with each picture, in Spanish. Number each answer – Look at the next slide for examples This will be half your grade for the week Assignment due on Wednesday The other half is your oral quiz

7 The (el, la, las, los) – A (un, una) Some (unas, unos) If the word is el (the) you say un If the word is la (the) you say una The plural for el is los The plural for la is las The plural for un is unos (some) The plural for una is unas (some)
