5 Follow up Activities The teacher presents/shows the focus statements (those that include the focus structure) to the students. Students then share (in English) what they notice about a pattern, what the new structure could mean in the context given, etc. Students process/practice the new structure with a partner/small group/class. Practice may be writing/speaking one sentence at a time of a new story/picture the teacher displays.
