Sexism fails to recognize both the equality of being between men and women and the intrinsic value of what makes a woman a woman. Feminism, equally fails, by equating equality in being with sameness; this requires the woman to cease to exist as a woman and become just like a man. Both ends of the spectrum are lived out against the backdrop of masculine virtue culture. So on the one side the woman is crushed on the other she disappears.

12 Móvil Too often, in the issues that relate to women, the “pendulum” swings from one extreme to another, bi-passing the middle. In reaction to sexisms demeaning of women: men and women are different and men are superior, women are inferior Feminism states that men and women are equal and therefore there are no difference.

As Christians: We must fight against the abuses and demeaning nature of sexism on the one hand, fighting for the dignity of women and their expanded place in society. And, on the other hand, we must fight against the disappearance of women and the interchangeability of roles demanded by the male dominated value system of feminism. In the radical middle of Trinitarian faith, there is harmony 5.There is harmony in the Godhead. Neither patriarchal tyranny nor role confusion egalitarianism are present in the Godhead.

16 “Superioridad” del Hombre
Derivado del sentido de que generalmente el hombre es, físicamente más fuerte y agresivo que la mujer. Cuando la mentalidad de guerrero se convierte en una virtud, entonces los hombres son considerados superiores a la mujer.

17 La Masculinidad es “divina”

This is the sad story of so many cultures. Men are god-like, women are not. Therefore women have little value. Into this world the Bible screams that women are like God – imago Dei.

This is often a result of one of two things An uncritical examination of ones own culture in light of Scripture. Or to put it differently “being conformed to this world.” This often is a result of socialization into a sexist society. Sexism may be “tempered” by the Scriptures to male dominance of Chauvinism. A conscious desire to stand against the denigration of female and the crushing of women found in ones own culture, in our case, a sexist society and embracing it’s opposite, feminism, as being true. Here feminism is “tempered” by Scripture to the egalitarianism of evangelical feminism.
