10 Tengo que + infinitivo The verb expression tener que can be used to indicate obligation. We use the formula tener + que + infinitive An infinitive verb is a verb that is not yet conjugated ◦ Example  Hablar  Gustar  Jugar  Cocinar

11 Let's look at some examples of proper use in the present tense. Tengo que cocinar la cena. I have to cook dinner. ¿Tengo que estar en el apartamento? Do I have to be in the apartment? Tengo que aprender las palabras. I have to learn the words. Tengo que ir a la biblioteca. I have to go to the library.

28 CHARADES – Las Reglas Everyone participates Everyone is quiet, standing to the side of their desk When the screen pops up a new vocab word, students are to quietly act out the vocab word for their team guesser If you are talking out of turn, acting out, or moving around the room you will be asked to sit down
