Past Participles AR Infinitives remove the AR add –ado (bailar = bailado) ER/IR Infinitives remove the ER/IR add –ido (vivir = vivido) *always end in –o in the perfect tenses

Past Participles verbs that have stems ending in a vowel need an accent mark over the i in the participle ending: caer – caídooír - oído traer – traídocreer - creído

Past Participles Spanish verbs that are usually irregular follow the same rules: ir – idoestar – estado ser – sidosaber - sabido
