Past Participles used as ADJECTIVES Need to agree in number and gender with the noun being described the same as you would an adjective. Ex: Las tapas pedidas El coche arreglado AR = ADO ER + IR = IDO AR = ADO ER + IR = IDO

Present Perfect Past Participles are also used with HABER to form the PRESENT PERFECT tense. “What someone has done.” The past participle DOES NOT change to reflect gender or number. Only HABER changes to agree with the subject. Refers to actions completed in the past that relate to the present. Auxiliary verb = HABER HEHEMOS HAS HABÉIS HAHAN Hemos divertido y aprendido mucho en la clase de Español. Present Perfect w/ Irregular Verbs An accent on the i is given whose stems end in a vowel. (Caer, Leer, Oir) Yo he leído mucho. Irregular Past Participles are used with the verb HABER to form the present perfect tense. Ustedes han escrito mucho hoy.
