7 Present Perfect Is a compound tense, which means that it requires an auxiliary verb. In English the auxiliary verb is has or have. In Spanish the auxiliary is formed from the auxiliary verb haber (to have–to posses)

8 Formation of the Present Perfect To form verbs in this tense you first conjugate haber in the present tense: (yo) he (tu) has (el) ha (nosotros) hemos (vosotros) habéis (ellos) han haber + past participle
