CANCER POLICY FORUM The work of the FNC has an equity focus, considering cancer not only from a sanitary stand point, but also from the outlook of the social determinants of health. This implies that what can be designed and developed here will approach fields of action that will reach more than just the health care system and that can also bring benefit to other areas of people’s life.
CANCER POLICY FORUM 2 Facilitate the formulation and revision of the NCP with legislative component Support the design of NCPr. Support the implementation of the NCP and the NCPr. Strengthen the political commitment of the government with the NCP. Strengthen the coordination of all systems that may contribute, in the framework of the NCP, to address the cancer challenges.
CANCER POLICY FORUM 3 Promote education and participation of the citizenry in the actions related to cancer in the framework of the NCP Facilitate the elaboration of national guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of cancer in the framework of the NCP Recommend priorities for investment in additional resources in the framework of the NCP Elaborate a communication strategy about cancer in the framework of the NCP
CANCER POLICY FORUM 4 Support monitoring and assessment of the implementation of NCP and NCPr Assure the coordination of their activities with the sanitary network as a whole so that these contribute to the integral strengthening of the health care system.
