¡MerCon 2014! La convención de los mejores mercados

MerCon 2014 You have been invited to participate in MerCon 2014 in México, D.F.! MerCon es la convención más importante del mundo para los vendedores y de tiendas. Después de participar en MerCon 2014, tu tienda será famosísima y habrá muchísima gente que vendrá a tu tienda

Tu tienda… Tú y tres amigos tendrán que crear una tienda. Ya que MerCon 2014 es muy competitiva, el director de MerCon sólo acepta a la convención una tienda de cada categoría. (una panadería, una carnicería, etc…) ¡Vamos a determinar qué tiendas tendrán!

¿Qué cosas habrá? Un menú/lista de productos No matter what your store is, you still need to sell at least five different “artesanía” items Descripción de los productos Precios en pesos Cantidades (libra/docena, etc.) A touching, heartwarming story of how you got started (pret/imp) Reasons that your products are better and why your store is important in the community (y el mercado de Mexico D.F.) Use words/phrases/questions from Section C to talk about promotions in your store.

La convención MerCon 2014 tendrá lugar lunes el 26 de mayo. On day one, you will set up your stores. Each group will have six- eight minutes to tell us about their store—how you started (owners’ history), about individual products, and tell the other stores at the convention why your products are better/the best. Each owner needs to have equal speaking parts. On day two, you will go around the convention to “shop.” Two people will stay at the store while the other two shop at other stores. You will speak Spanish the entire time About halfway through, you will switch.

Disclaimer: you are not required to or being asked to purchase anything for this project. Please use what you have (pics/toys/souvenirs, etc) and recycle any old projects/poster boards, cardboard, etc you can. (I will provide art supplies/paper because I love you ) You do not have to bring every item on your list!!!! A couple of items for visual would be nice, but do not have to have all products here in class. (Be creative and selective!!!)

AHORA MISMO ~~~decide and delegate what every single group member is responsible for doing/making/writing over the weekend to bring for Monday ~~~make sure you have each other’s digits/ /etc
