Codeduc 8th graders English Test General Information El test se basa en el lenguaje que se utiliza en situaciones reales y cubre las cuatro habilidades del idioma - lectura, escritura, comprensión auditiva y conversación. Evalúa las habilidades prácticas y fomenta el desarrollo de habilidades útiles al viajar así como en situaciones de estudio y trabajo. Tiene tres partes: Lectura y Escritura, Comprensión Auditiva y Conversación. –Lectura y Escritura (Parte 1) 1 hora 10 minutos: la parte de Lectura y Escritura evalúa la habilidad de leer y entender textos actuales tomados de señalizaciones, folletos, periódicos y revistas. Los candidatos necesitan entender los mensajes principales y tener estrategias para manejar palabras y estructuras desconocidas. –Comprensión auditiva (Parte 2) 25 minutos: La parte de comprensión auditiva evalúa la habilidad de entender material grabado como anuncios y monólogos los cuales están grabados a una velocidad moderada. También deben entender información factual en las grabaciones. –Conversación (Parte 3) 8-10 minutos: La prueba de conversación evalúa la habilidad de interactuar en Inglés conversacional con un examinador y con otro candidato. Los candidatos deben estar en capacidad de responder y hacer preguntas sobre ellos mismos y hablar libremente sobre sus gustos y disgustos. Usualmente los candidatos toman la prueba de conversación en parejas.
