Kids There are 2.2 billion kids in the world 1 billion of kids live in poverty (1 out of every 2 kids in the world) 640 million don’t have where to live 400 million don’t have access to clean water 270 million don’t have access to medical services 10.6 million died in 2003 before turning 5 (approx. 29,000 kids a day)

Different Types of Poverty Absolute poverty: –People that do not have access to the basics like food and housing.

Different Types of Poverty Relative Poverty: –Every poor person is different depending on where they are (location). –It is not the same to be poor in Africa than it is in the Unites States.

Different Types of Poverty Educational Poverty: –People that do not have access to basic and superior education  makes it impossible to have access to adequate jobs.

Different Types of Poverty Services Poverty: –People that live in regions that lack public services like drinking water and electricity.
