TENER, HACER, PONER,TRAER Y OÍR
hacer – to do, to make hago haces hace hacen hacemos hacéis
¿Qué haces mañana? Voy al centro comercial con amigos. ¿Qué haces ahora? Yo hago la tarea y estudio. ¿Qué hacen Uds. en la clase? Nosotros tomamos apuntes.
Algunas expresiones con Hacer: hacer la tarea – to do homework hacer ejercicio – to exercise hacer buen/mal tiempo /calor/sol/frío hacer una pregunta – to ask a question (hacer preguntas)
poner – to put, to place pongo pones pone ponen ponemos ponéis
pones¿Dónde pones tus libros? Pongo-Pongo mis libros en mi armario. PongoPongo el agua en la mesa. –I put the water on the table.
poner -Sometimes poner = to turn on (something): -poner la radio – to turn on the radio -poner el televisor - to turn on the tv -poner el despertador – to turn on the alarm clock -poner la luz – to turn on the light
PONER PONER is also used in the common Spanish idiom: -poner la mesa – set the table -Yo siempre pongo la mesa para mi familia.

To say what you have to do in Spanish, you use: tener que + infinitive.
