2 What are these verbs? They are verbs where in most cases only the yo form has a change The change needs to be memorized –Practice, practice, practice

3 Hacer = to do; to make yo hagonosotros hacemos tú haces él, ella, hace Ud ellos, ellas, hacen Uds.

4 Special things about hacer: Many times a form of hacer appears in the question, however it is not in the answer. –¿Qué vas a hacer después de la escuela? –Voy a ir al parque. Expressions with hacer: –Weather expressions: Hace sol. Hace frío. Hace calor. Hace buen (mal) tiempo. –Hacer las maletas. –Hacer un viaje.

5 Poner = to put; to place; to set yo pongonosotros ponemos tú pones él, ella, pone Ud ellos, ellas, ponen Uds.

6 Salir = to leave; to go out yo salgonosotros salimos tú sales él, ella, sale Ud. ellos, ellas, salen Uds.

7 Decir = to say; to tell yo digonosotros decimos tú dices él, ella, dice Ud. ellos, ellas, dicen Uds.
