GRAMMAR EXPLANATION

El tiempo presente simple indica una acción habitual. Examples: I SING: yo canto THEY ROW: ellos reman

He plays basketball Para formar este tiempo se debe tener en cuenta: Las oraciones afirmativas no usan verbo auxiliar. Las oraciones afirmativas que estén en tercera persona del singular (he, she, it) agregan “s” al verbo principal. Example: He plays basketball

Los verbos que terminan en: ch Sh S X o añaden es para formar el presente en la tercera persona del singular.

EXAMPLES

Los verbos que terminan en y precedida de consonante, hacen la tercera persona del singular cambiando la y por ies.

Attention!!

Cuando no desees mencionar el pronombre personal dentro de la oración, puedes remplazarlo por cualquier nombre o sujeto (persona, animal, lugar, cosa).

ATTENTION!! Cuando la pregunta se formula con el pronombre I (yo), se responde con you (tú, usted). Cuando se formula con you (tú, usted), se responde con I (yo). Si la pregunta se formula con el pronombre we (nosotros), se responde con you (ustedes), y si se formula con you (ustedes) se responde con we (nosotros).

También se debe tener en cuenta que cuando se pregunta con un nombre de persona animal o cosa, no se responde con el mismo nombre sino con el pronombre correspondiente. Example: does your father drive his new car? Yes, he does. Does Betty travel to Paris on Sunday? No, she doesn’t. Does your dog bite? Yes, it does. Do the children play in the park? Yes, they do.
