Direct Object Pronouns

Direct object pronouns are simply words that replace a direct object. In English, there are two – “it” and “them”. Look at these examples – the direct object pronouns are underlined: I have the book.I have it. I see the cookies.I see them.

In Spanish there are four different direct object pronouns, depending on whether the noun you are dealing with is masculine, feminine, singular, or plural.
