Conjugating verbs What is the point of conjugating verbs in Spanish? We conjugate verbs in order to correctly say WHO is doing the action (the subject of the sentence). Doing so allows us to speak in a grammatically correct manner (subject-verb agreement). Ejemplo: I speak Spanish. She also speaks Spanish.
