Conjugation of –ar verbs In Spanish, to conjugate regular present tense – ar verbs, you drop the verb ending (-ar). You then add to the stem the endings that correspond to the different subject pronouns. You must memorize the endings that correspond to the different subject pronouns. There are not a lot! The following slides will help you visualize the process by which verb forms are created.
Keep It Simple Let’s go over the endings for ALL Present Tense Regular –ar verbs. Next, let’s apply these endings to the stem of a regular present tense –ar verb.
