AP Spanish Literature and Culture Course Description: The purpose of this course is to cover the equivalent of a third-year college course in Peninsular and Latin American Literature and culture. The course is designed to introduce students to the formal study of a representative body of Peninsular and Latin American literary texts. Portrait of a Successful Student in AP Spanish Literature and Culture Disciplined: Discipline themselves to hear, read, speak and write exclusively in Spanish in the AP class as well as beyond the classroom walls. Participation: Highly motivated to participate in class. Students are able to initiate, maintain, and close a conversation. Students are able to formulate questions in Spanish to seek clarification or additional information. Reading: Enjoy reading a variety of authentic works: literary prose, essays, poems, dramatic works, dialogues cartoons, advertisements, book reviews, and journalistic materials, including editorials. Writing and Grammar: Write cohesive and coherent essays (analytical or persuasive essay in reaction to a text or on a personal, academic, cultural or social issue) exclusively in the Spanish language. Charlamos #2: respuesta de eCampus – 25pts   En total valdrá (valer) un 20% de la nota del primer cuartrimestre de la clase de AP. Favor de no esperar hasta al fin del verano para hacer la tarea.
