Superlatives In English, Superlatives are when we use adjectives with an “est” as a suffix. For example, the fastest runner, the tallest girl, etc.

Superlatives Memorize this formula: el / la / los / las + noun + más / menos + adjective

Superlatives This formula is used to say that someone or something is “the most” or “the least” when compared to two or more people or things.

Superlatives For example, La foto de mi familia es la posesión más importante para mi.

Superlatives Los colores más bonitos In Spanish, it says “the colors most pretty.” In English we would say, “the prettiest colors” with “est.”

Superlatives To say that someone is “the best” or “the worst” we use el / la mejor and el / la peor. These come before the noun.

To say that someone is “the oldest” or “the youngest” we use el / la mayor and el / la menor. These come before the noun.
