To Form the Present Progressive Estoy hablando = I am talking Estás hablando = You are talking Está hablando = He/She/You are talking Estamos hablando = We are talking Están hablando = They/You all are talking

In General… -- Drop the AR or ER/IR ending from the infinitive verb and add: AR – ando ER/IR – iendo

Exceptions to that Rule… If stem of ER/IR verbs ends in vowel after dropping ending, then: - iendo  yendo Ejemplo: leer  leyendo *creer, oír
