Indirect Object/Pronouns Indirect objects answer the question “to whom” or “for whom” the verb is being done. An indirect object pronoun must always be used if there is an indirect object. Steps Find the subject Find the verb To find the I.O. ask to whom or for whom is the verb being performed or find the personal “a” and the I.O. follows it. Find the i.o.p. and Place it before the verb (2 verbs either before or attached to 2nd verb)
