We have just finished up AVMR assessments. In writing, we are learning to write about things we know, informative writing. We also just finished an author study on Eric Carle and in English time, learning about Forces and Motion. Acabamos de terminar las evaluaciones de PALS y AVMR. En la escritura, estamos aprendiendo a escribir sobre cosas que sabemos, la escritura informativa. También acabamos de terminar un estudio del autor Eric Carle, y en Inglés estamos aprendiendo sobre las Fuerzas y el Movimiento. This month we have been working on numbers 11-19, as well as learning how to add and subtract with numbers 1-5.  We have also just finished our Math assessment--these students sure are learning!  In writing, we are learning to write about things we know, informative writing.  We also spent the entire month learning about the weather and seasons--we even learned a lot about weather in Wisconsin!  In English time, we learned about wants and needs.  We are also spending a lot of time learning sight words, which help us to read and write! También hemos terminado nuestra evaluación de Matemáticas - ¡estos estudiantes están aprendiendo! En escritura, estamos aprendiendo a escribir sobre cosas que sabemos, escritura informativa.
