Week of May 29th-June 3rd Upcoming Events May 29th: No School – Memorial Day The Teacher’s Scoop! Hey parents, We have had a great week reviewing over the quarter, testing for our Reading levels (TRC), Free Writing, etc. Spelling Words: boot, too, room, soon, cool, choose, food, spoon, goose, tooth, eyes, around, again Sentences: 1. Her eyes got wide when her tooth came loose. 2. The goose flew around the pool again. We are just practicing these words, we will not have a test on them! What We Are Learning Next Week Reading: Daily 5: Writing, continuing Guided Reading Groups, Word Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Math: Review from the quarter Ksgiving WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder Monday – No School Tuesday – Jeffrey Wednesday – Amelia Thursday – Nicholas Friday – Abby On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 22 students.
