Week of March 6th-10th  Upcoming Events March 3rd: Fuel Up to Play 60 Family Night March 15th: Early Release Day The Teacher’s Scoop! Dear Parents, I hope everyone had a great weekend! We had a wonderful Dr. Seuss Week! This week we learned about word problems, wrote about “If Thing 1 and Thing 2 came to school….” practiced our handwriting, etc. Spelling Words: boat, grow, soap, know, road, coat, low, yellow, show, float, could, done, are Sentences: 1. Could the toast be done? 2. We are going to the boat show. The Spelling Test will be on Friday!  What We Are Learning Next Week Ksgiving WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Reading: Poetry Daily 5: Writing about “A Rainy Day“, continuing Guided Reading Groups, Word Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Math: True/False Equations Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder Monday – Ryker Tuesday – Madison Wednesday – Brooke Thursday – Kelly Friday – Jennera On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 21 students. Estimados Padres, Espero que todos hayan tenido un gran fin de semana! Tuvimos una maravillosa semana de Dr. Seuss! Esta semana aprendimos sobre problemas de palabras, escribimos sobre "Si la Cosa 1 y Cosa 2 vinieron a la escuela ..." practicamos nuestra escritura, etc. Ortografía palabras: boat, grow, soap, know, road, coat, low, yellow, show, float, could, done, are oraciones: 1. Could the toast be done? 2. We are going to the boat show. ¡La prueba de ortografía será el viernes!  Lo que estamos aprendiendo la próxima semana Lectura: Poesía diaria 5: Escribiendo sobre "Un Día de Lluvia", continuando Grupos de Lectura Guiados, Trabajo de Palabra y Leído a Sí Mismo LetterLand: Sílabas y comprensión de las palabras y sonidos hablados (fonemas) matemáticas: Ecuaciones Verdaderas / Falso lo que está pasando esta semana estudiante estrella de la semana Recordatorio de snack Lunes – Ryker Martes – Madison El miércoles – Brooke Jueves – Kelly Viernes – Jennera Día de merienda de su hijo, por favor envíe suficientes bocadillos para 21 alumnos.
