El Imperfecto Español 2

¿Qué es el imperfecto? Are actions that occurred in the past. It does not have a beginning or a definite end. Think of it as a river. A river has no beginning and no end.

How to use the imperfect! The imperfect tense describes what someone WAS doing or what you USED to do. Examples: I was playing football I used to play football.

Práctica #1 Under your Diario, practice conjugating the following verbs in the IMPERFECT TENSE using the 5 forms. Beber (to drink) 2. Amar (to love) 3. Subir (to climb) 4. Hablar (to talk) 5. Práctica #2 Pick 10 of the verbs and put them into sentences. Make sure that you use them in the correct form. Think about of how you were 5-7 years ago.

Práctica #3 Do you remember the 3 irregular verbs? For each verb, you need to create sentences. Only pick 2 of the forms for each verb. (ex: you can pick “yo” and “nosotros” etc.) Make sure that you underline the verb. In total, you will have 6 sentences.

Final Activity On a white sheet of paper, you will: Think back 5-7 years ago Draw an image (s) of how you USED to look or how you USED to be Pick 5 of your sentences from activity #2 and write them on your self portrait. Your final product should have color! Get creative! Final Activity
