In Spanish, adjectives must agree in NUMBER with the noun they modify (nuestro/vuestro must agree in GENDER as well!) Mi hermano es simpático. Mis primos son simpáticos.

HOW THEY WORK: First, determine WHO is possessing something, and that will tell you which possessive adjective to use… Ex: Mrs. Callahan’s students. Who possesses something? Mrs. C. (her)

We must use the PLURAL form (SUS) because what is being possessed (the students) is plural and the possessive adjective must agree in gender and number with the noun that it describes (WHAT IS BEING POSSESSED) …NOT with WHO possesses it.
