3 Possessive Adjectives One can also make possessives with adjectives. They exist in English as well. his, her, my, our, their, and your Just like in English, they precede the noun they modify and MUST agree with the noun they modify. Unlike all other adjectives you have learned, possessive adjectives come before the noun and you DON ’ T need articles with possessive adjectives.

9 Grammar Reminder! In Spanish, possessive adjectives have to agree in number. Unlike regular adjectives, possessive adjectives go BEFORE the noun they are describing With su and sus, you must clarify to whom the objects belong. Su perro could mean his/her/their/your dog!
