Mandatos afirmativos formales When you tell someone to do something you are using an affirmative command. In Spanish, when you tell a person (someone who is not a friend nor family member) or a group of people to do something, you are using an affirmative “formal” command. For example: “Professor, please, help me with the homework” Or: “Hey girls, tell me the answers to number six, please”.

Simply, conjugate the verb in the yo form, drop the o, and add the verb’s opposite ending (ar have er endings, er/ir have ar endings). Yo vengo  vengo  veng_  Ud. Venga Uds. Vengan
