2 To form the negative tu command take the yo form of the present tense verb drop the –o and add –es for –ar verbs and –as for –er/-ir. Ejemplo: Cerrar- cierro No cierres la puerta Salir-salgo No salgas esta noche

3 In order to preserve the sound of the stem, you must use the –gar, -car, -zar changes. - gar gu -car qu -zar c Ejemplos: Tocar No toques Jugar No juegues en la clase.

4 Verbos Reflexivos In the negative form of all reflexive verbs (in the command) the reflexive pronoun is placed before the verb. No te sientes No te calles No te acuestes

7 To conjugate verbs in the affirmative tú form of the verb use the él form of the present tense.
