Rule #3 – Spelling Changes For certain verbs, we have to change the spelling in order to preserve the sound of the infinitive (the non-conjugated verb). Those verbs end in… -car (tocar, practicar…) -gar (pagar, jugar…) -zar (almorzar, comenzar…) Next
