31 Let’s now quickly talk about another immersive, next generation application utilizing avitars and virtual worlds.. It is an application called Web.alive Web.alive is a web based plug-in that provides a dynamic way of collaborating with real people in real time on the web using your voice, as well as a rich 3D immersive visually environment that contains a full assortment of images, presentations, web browsers and desktop sharing to provide a one stop seamless collaboration experience. It allows businesses to take their existing websites and transform them into a place where you can effectively talk to your customers and they can even talk to each other. Again its an example of communications changing to be more immersive and to enable true real-time collaboration.
