Leemos pg 255 ¿Qué significa un adjetivo que termina con –ísimo? “extremely” or “very” + the adjective Por ejemplo: ¿Qué quiere decir: guapísimo? Extremely good looking dificilísimo? Extremely difficult riquísimo? Extremely rich/tasty

How to form an adjective with –ísimo: If the adjective ends in a vowel, take the vowel off and add –ísimo guapo= guapísimo 2. If the adjective ends in a consonant, just add –ísimo. difícil = dificilísimo 3. If the adjectives ends in –co or –ca, remove it, change the spelling to “qu” and add –ísimo rico = riquísimo *It’s still an adjective and must agree in gender and number…so you might add –ísima, –ísimos, –ísimas
