9 El Cuento del Gato Hay un chico que se llama Pablo. Pablo quiere tener ocho gatos. Pablo vive en las montañas de California. A Pablo no le gustan los elefantes. Prefiere los gatos. El chico va a hablar con el presidente de los gatos de Wyoming porque no hay muchos gatos en California. Necesita hablar con el presidente de los gatos. El presidente tiene un elefante pero no tiene un gato. El chico va a Australia. Necesita hablar con el vice presidente de los gatos en Australia. Hay muchos gatos en Australia. A Pablo le dan ocho gatos y está muy contento.

11 La Tarea You will be given a reading that you are to do at home. Read the first two paragraphs three times. 1. Read it silently for understanding. 2. Read it out loud to yourself in front of a mirror. Carefully check your pronunciation. 3. Read it out loud to an adult family member. Have them write a comment and sign your La Tarea paper.
