2 La Campana Dibuja estas escenas:
1. De niña yo llevaba un vestido de princesa a la escuela. 2. Mi papá coleccionaba muchos insectos cuando era niño. 3. Mi hermana tenía miedo del monstruo debajo de su cama. 4. Mi abuelo charlaba y jugaba con un amigo imaginario. You can have volunteers draw their scenes on the board but be careful not to waste time (I find I lose time during this activity easily!). This should only take 5 – 7 minutes… Participación #1 = dibuja tu papá

3 Una actividad con la tarea
Saca tu tarea. (si no la tienes, marca “unprepared”) Lee 5 de tus oraciones a tu compañero. Tu compañero necesita decirte que escribiste. Después, el Profe Hansen va a escoger unas personas para leer una oracion. They have homework every class time. If they do not have it completed, make sure they circle the word “unprepared” on their participation slip. Please walk around to make sure they stay on task. Then, call on a few students to read one sentence. Tell them a number to read and then praise them in an appropriate way. (Unless they don’t have any sentences… then you can tease them! They studied the imperfect tense last time, I want to see if they really understood it. They need to take this quiz in their quiz section.

5 La Prueba – las respuestas
1. What color was it? 2. Was it popular? 3. Do you still have your toy? 4. Who did you get it from? 5. Do you think that kids of today would like it? Why? Have them pass their notebooks to the left and grade each other. It is worth 10 pts. total – have them write the score on the same page as the quiz. Participación #3 = dibuja un casa

6 Unos dramas Vamos a presentar varios obras de drama durante la Semana de las Lenguas del Mundo (World Language Week) en marzo. Hoy vamos a leer unos. Todos van a recibir una copia del drama. Léanlo en los grupos como un “readers theater”. Escribe apuntes en tu copia. Después de 15 minutes, vamos a discutirlo como una clase. World Language Week is a really big deal at our school. The third year language students present fairy-tale plays to the school. This means they memorize their lines, create costumes and scenery, and perform in front of their peers. This is their first look at one of the plays we will be doing. As they are already in groups, it is easy for them to do a little read of this play as well as stop occasionally to make sure they are all understanding what is going on. After 15 minutes go over the basics of the story line with the class. Use English as needed. Participación #4 = dibuja un gigante

7 La Tarea- mostrar y hablar
Usa tus oraciones que has escrito de tu juguete. Escribe un gran párrafo con una oración principal y detalles que añaden al idea principal. Lee tu párrafo a una persona que habla español. Tu “audiencia” necesita escribir un comentario incluyendo “tips” para ti. También tienen que firmar tu papel también. The students must write down the basic instructions on their “la tarea” paper. Don’t let them get away with, “I’ll remember what to do.” or, “I’ll just look it up online when I get home.” Make everyone write it down. Collect the participation slips at the end of class by having them turn them in to 2nd period’s box. Participación #5 = dibuja una muñeca

1. Complete the Campana in your La campana section. 2. Take the quiz 3. Check your answers 4. Come get a copy of the plays. 5. Write down the homework instructions. 6. Do the homework. 7. Write a 175 word essay telling about what places that you like to go and places your friends and family members like to go.
