Present progressive  When we talk about something that is happening right now, we use a special form called the present progressive (also called the present continuous ).

 To indicate that an action is in progress, Spanish uses estar + present participle ( -ando/-iendo form ) of the main verb. Spanish: estar + -ndo (present participle) Elena está estudiando.
