Doubt: When doubt or uncertainty are expressed in a question, also use the subjunctive: ¿Conoces a alguien que toque el piano? ¿Hay alguien en la clase que sepa tocar la guitarra?

Remember: Remember: The present perfect is used to say that somebody has done something. It is formed by combining HABER with the PAST PARTICIPLE of the verb: Yo he comido. ¿Qué has hecho?

To form the present perfect SUBJUNCTIVE, you must use the subjunctive form of HABER instead of the present tense form: HayaHayamos Hayas Hayáis HayaHayan

Example: Regular Present Perfect: Yo no he estudiado para el examen. Present Perfect Subjunctive: Es malo que yo no haya estudiado para el examen.

Carmen ha sacado una mala nota en la clase de biología. Es malo que Carmen haya sacado una mala nota en la clase de biología.

The present perfect subjunctive can also be used to indicate that the action took place in the past.
