3 Conjugate tener Yo tengo Tú tienes Él Ella tiene Ud. Nosotros tenemos Vosotros tenéis Ellos Ellas tienen Uds.

4 Choose a “pet” verb Look at the vocabulary list of –ar verbs. Choose a verb from the list, or one that we have already learned. (trabajar, bailar, cantar, etc.) That verb is your pet. You must know what it means and how to conjugate it. If someone is having trouble with that verb, they will ask you for help.

5 Expressing obligation In Spanish, two phrases are often used to say that someone MUST or HAS to do something. The first phrase refers to someone specific. (Example: he, my mom, Marta) Tener que + infinitive You conjugate tener according the subject. Example: Tù tienes que ayudar tu padre.
