What is it?  When we want to emphasize something is happening right now, we use the present progressive  The difference between present tense and present progressive tense: I walk to the house is present tense I am walking to the house is present progressive tense

How to form it…  To form the present progressive, we use the present tense form of estar + a present participle.  The present participle is formed by dropping the ending from a verb and adding ando for AR verbs and iendo for ER/IR verbs The ando and iendo is like adding “ing” The ando and iendo is like adding “ing”

AR verb in action…  Estoy lavando la ropa  Estás lavando la ropa  Está lavando la ropa  Estamos lavando la ropa  Están lavando la ropa
