The verb ir is an irregular verb. It follows the same pattern as an –ar verb conjugation except in the yo form even though it is an –ir verb. (yo)(nosotros) (nosotras) (tú)(vosotros) (vosotras) (él) (ella) (Ud.) (ellos) (ellas) (Uds.) Ir-to go
1. doy 2. das 3. da 4. damos dan The verb dar is considered irregular because it does not have a normal yo form. All other forms of dar follow a regular –ar verb conjugation pattern.
1. estoy 2. estás 3. está --¿Cómo estás? --Estoy bien, gracias. --¿Dónde estás? --Estoy en la escuela. 4. estamos están Estar is like dar in that it is irregular in the yo form. Estar is semi-reg in all other forms, but has an accent mark on the “a” of the (tú), (él, ella, Ud.), and (ellos, ellas, Uds.) forms 1.You use estar to tell how a person feels. 2.You also use estar to tell where you are:
To remember when to use estar use this rhyme: How you feel or Where you are ALWAYS use the verb ESTAR
