HOW TO CHANGE AN ACTIVE VERB INTO A PASSIVE VERB 1.Use the verb SER in the same tense as in the active sentence. 2.Add the PARTICIPLE of the conjugated verb in the active sentence. In other words, the main verb of the active sentence is going to be used in the passive sentence as the participle You should remember that the participle is the form of the verb that normally ends in “-ado/-ido”. 3.The participle (the "-ado/-ido" form of the verb) will change to match the noun that it describes, which in a passive sentence is the passive subject.
