2 Negative Constructions
Here are some affirmative and negative words that you already know. Remember they are ANTONYMS.

Affirmative alguien algo alguno, alguna (pronoun) algún, alguna (adj.) siempre también

4 Negative Constructions
nadie nada ninguno, ninguna (pronoun) ningún, ninguna (adj.) nunca tampoco

5 Negative Constructions
Alguno and Ninguno drop their o before a masc. noun. Algún and ningún are always written with an accent.

6 Negative Constructions
Negative words may come before or after the verb. But if they come after, we must use no before the verb.

Nadie fue a la reunión. No quiero nada para mi cumpleaños.

8 Alguien/Nadie Remember that these two can be used as a subject or an object of a preposition. Alguien tiene mi lapiz. Nadie sabe donde mi lápiz está. ¿Vas a ir con alguien al partido? No, no voy a ir con nadie al partido.

9 Tambien Remember that we use tambien to agree with an affirmative statement. Me gusta cocinar, ¿Y a ti? A mí me gusta tambien or A mí tambien. Quiero tacos, ¿Y tú? Yo tambien.

10 Tampoco Remember that we use tampoco to agree with an negative statement. No Me gusta cocinar, ¿Y a ti? A mí no me gusta tampoco or A mí tampoco No quiero tacos, ¿Y tú? Yo tampoco.
