Ser – to be Yo soy – I am Tú eres – you are Él Ella es – is Ud. Nosotros/as somos – We are Vosotros/as sois – You all are (Spain) Ellos Ellas son – are Uds.

Describing people masculine vs feminine Use the following construction. –person + a form of ser + adjective(s) When you describe something feminine you need to change the adjectives that end in “o” to an “a”. –Example: rubio  rubia divertido  divertida If the adjective ends with an “e” it doesn’t change. It is the same for feminine and masculine words. Some words require you to add an “a”. –Trabajador  trabajadora.
