  Commands (Mandatos) are used to tell someone what to do.  Wash the dishes.  Do your homework.  Those are examples of affirmative or positive commands.  Affirmative means to tell someone to do something as opposed to telling them NOT to do something. ¿Por qué se los usan?

  Affirmative or positive tú commands are used when you are telling someone that you know well what to do. + tú commands

  To conjugate + tú commands:  Take the 3rd person singular form of the verb in the present tense. (For regular verbs)  Ejemplos:  ¡Lava los platos!  ¡Limpia tu cuarto!  ¡Da de comer al perro! Conjugación
