RESUMEN EJECUTIVO Esta evaluación fue realizada en la empresa de sondajes Major Drilling Chile S.A, con el fin de mejorar la presentación e imagen de la empresa para las licitaciones de sondajes de Aire Reverso o Diamantina a las cuales es invitada. Debido al fuerte nivel de competitividad dentro del rubro, Major Drilling Chile S.A. decide cambiar su estrategia y desarrollar un plan estratégico acorde a las altas exigencias del mercado, de este modo, se busca y determina el valor agregado del servicio y se desarrolla una presentación técnica base, donde se presenta y explica de una forma mas didacta los servicios ofertados. Para lograr y conformar dicha evaluación se estudia y evalúan todas las áreas o departamentos involucradas, tales como; el Departamento de Mantención, Adquisiciones y Logística, Administración, Recursos Humanos, Departamento de Control de Perdidas y el Departamento de Operaciones, obteniendo como resultado un trabajo en equipo y pro activo al momento de entregar el servicio. De este modo se logra la Identificación y presentación de la empresa con todos los contratos y experiencia en las distintas áreas de sondajes (Curriculum), un organigrama donde se explica cual es el personal que desarrollara el trabajo, toda la información autorizada solicitada por el proponente ( Respaldo Económico Financieros), Plan de Trabajo y Programa de Mantención Preventivo, Programa Planificación e Instalación de los Equipos, Programa de Administración de Riesgos y Control de Perdidas y por ultimo el Plan de medio Ambiente. Al desarrollar el estudio de la Evaluación Técnica se entregan la información y parámetros necesarios para el control y organización de la faena, que ayudara posteriormente para la fiscalización y ejecución del proyecto de forma eficiente, rápida y segura cumpliendo con todos los estándares solicitados.

EXECUTIVE BRIEF This evaluation was carried out for MAJOR DRILLING CHILE S.A, one of the most important drilling companies in Chile. The purpose was to improve the presentation of the company in the Diamond (DD) and Reverse Circulation (RC) bids. Because of the competitive environment of the drilling bussiness, Major Drilling Chile decided to change its strategy and prepare and strategic planning to be able to play an excellent role in the drilling bussiness. To achieve this objective Major Drilling Chile S.A had to determines the value of the services and develope a technical presentation in which the services of the company to be shown and explained in more specific terms. The steps in the strategic planning were to study and evaluate each department of the company such as: Mainteinance Department, Purchasing Department, Administration Department, Human Resources Department, Loss Control and Safety Department, and Operations Department. After this study, the departments transformed into an excellent work team environment (pro-active). What we obtained from this evaluation was a renewed proposal which includes an identification and a presentation of the company including a list of all the contracts it has had and its experience in drilling bussiness (Resume); an organizational chart of the people in the project; finantial information asked by potential clients (Economical Support); Work Plan and Preventive Mainteinance Program; Loss Control Program; and the Enviromental Plan. On the other hand, the technical evaluation includes all the information needed to develope excellent work ethics in the projects, an excellent organization, internal control procedures, with this changes it will produce a safer work environment. With the above noted improvements, Major will achieve their new strategy.
