 Ar verbs….ando  Er verbs…iendo  Ir verbs…iendo  -ando and –iendo are equivalent to – ing.

 I am running. Yo estoy corriendo.  You are eating. Tú estás comiendo.  We are waiting. Nosotros estamos esperando. 

 If they are irregular in present tense, meaning stem-changing, they will be irregular in present progressive.

 dormir: durmiendo

 Creer: creyendo  Leer: leyendo  Traer: trayendo

 When you use object pronouns with the present progressive, you can put them before the conjugated form of estar or attach them to the present participle.  If a pronoun is attached to the present participle, an accent mark is needed. Write the accent mark over the vowel that is normally stressed in the present participle.  ---- ¿Están Uds. esperando el autobus?  ---- Sí, lo Estamos esperando.  O: Sí, Estamos esperándolo.
