“De” In Spanish, we use “de” (of) to show ownership. Las hijas de la Sra. Hamilton son preciosas. In English, the words are in the opposite order. The daughters of Mrs. Hamilton are precious. And we say in English…… Mrs. H’s daughters are precious.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ‘S IN SPANISH!!!!
