2 1.2 Hardware Installation 1.Connect Bluetooth Printer Adapter to USB port on the printer (see Figure 1). Figure 1 Figure 2 1.You need at least a Bluetooth-enabled device (desktop PC, notebook PC or PDA) which supports Hard Copy Replacement Profile (HCRP). 2.You need a printer with a USB port. There are two things you have to know before you start to use Bluetooth Printer Adapter. 1.1 You have to know before installation 1. Prepare and Install 2. Connect Power Jack to Bluetooth Printer Adapter, and plug power adapter into outlet (see Figure 2).

3 Figure 3 2. How to use Bluetooth Printer Adapter’s Services 1. Open “My Bluetooth Places” on Windows desktop, then double-click “Entire Bluetooth Neighborhood” to search nearby Bluetooth devices. You will discover Bluetooth Printer Adapter named “BtPrinter” (see Figure 3). Bluetooth Printer Adapter provides Hard Copy Replacement Profile (HCRP). You can use any Bluetooth software which support HCRP to link with Bluetooth Printer Adapter. The following pages use Widcomm BTW (Bluetooth for Windows) version as examples to explain how to use services in Bluetooth Printer Adapter. 2.1 Connect to Bluetooth Print Adapter

4 3. It will automatically install printer driver if Windows can identify the printer, otherwise you need to indicate the path for files of the printer’s driver. After printer’s driver is installed, software installation process is complete. Figure 4 2. Double-click on “BtPrinter” icon, a message like Figure 4 is shown. 1. Preparación e instalación 1.1. Aviso antes de la instalación. Hay dos cosas que usted debe de saber antes de comenzar a usar el adaptador de impresora Bluetooth 1..Usted necesita como mínimo un dispositivo Bluetooth que esté activado ( PC, Notebook, PDA, etc ) el cual soporte el reemplazo del perfil de las copias impresas (HCRP- Hard Copy Replacement Level). 2. Usted necesita una impresora con puerto USB

10 2. Como se usan los servicios del adaptador de impresora Bluetooth 2.1 Conectar el adaptador de impresora Bluetooth. El adaptador de impresora Bluetooth provee de una copia impresa de reemplazo del perfil (HCRP). Podrá utilizar cualquier programa Bluetooth que soporte HCRP para enlazar con el adaptador de impresora Bluetooth. Las siguientes páginas muestran la versión de Widcomm BTW (Bluetooth for Windows) como ejemplo para explicar como usar los dispositivos del adaptador de impresora Bluetooth. 1..Abrir: “Mis sitios Bluetooth” En el escritorio de Windows, hacemos doble click en “Entire Bluetooth Neighborhood (vecindario de Bluetooth)” y buscamos el dispositivo que queremos. Usted descubrira el Adaptador de impresora Bluetooth llamado “Btprinter” (ver figura 3). Figura 3

11 2. Hacer doble click en el icono “Btprinter”, nos mostrará el mensaje de la figura 4. Después le daremos al botón “ Ok” para instalar la impresora. Figura 4 3.Este driver se instalará automáticamente si Windows puede identificar la impresora, de lo contrario usted necesitara identificar las carpetas con los drivers de la impresora. Después de tener la impresora instalada, el proceso de instalación del software ya esta terminado Imprimir. 1..Abrir el documento que usted desea imprimir y elija la funcion “Imprimir” (Print).
