Present Progressive Tense To describe actions in progress (hence the name), you can use the ‘Present Progressive Tense’ For example- in English: I am eating. You are studying. Felipe is sleeping.

Present Progressive Tense Spanish also can express this. To do so: Use the correct form of the verb ESTAR Use the present participle of the second verb (verbs with –ing) For example: I am doing… (doing is a ‘present participle’) Yo estoy haciendo

Present Progressive Tense To form the ‘present participle’ (-ing), follow these 2 steps: Drop the ending of the infinitive (-ar/-er/-ir) Add –ando to an –ar verb Add –iendo to an –er/-ir verb
